Lindsay Lohan's father is facing charges because he has threatened his girlfriend that he will kill her and himself if she leaves him.
However, the case has been postponed. This one-year delay is known as an "adjournment in contemplation of dismissal."
His attorney, Anthony Grandinette (Grand-in-ett-EE), did not immediately comment.
