Britney Spears wants to have a girlfriend as a friend but not something like a lesbian friend such as the relationship between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.
One friend family said "Britney is desperate for some female companionship. She's tired of being stuck in the house all the time and having her father tag along everywhere."
