Daily Mail reported that Lindsay and Samantha "are said to be drifting apart and bickering on a daily basis". Friends say DJ Samantha feels "smothered" by Lindsay's constant attention and "is anxious to step away from the media spotlight".

"Samantha is known for being shy, but what she's less known for is being a very serious and thoughtful person," a pal tells the paper. "There have always been these second thoughts about how she comes across being in this high profile 'celebrity romance'.
