His lawyer Mark Jay Heller suggested to the judge that they needed more time to settle this matter. Heller said,“In order for the defendant to be convicted of any crime, there has to
have been intent to commit a crime".

“This individual had absolutely no intent to commit any crime. I'm completely
confident this case will be dismissed.”
