In 2011, Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan was charged with assaulting his girlfriend. After one week of the incident, Lindsay Lohan wanted to drop her last name "Lohan".
Her mother, Dina told Popeater.com, "Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay. Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."
